T-Shirt Info Page~
Kamon SeriesThe set of three designs that make up the Kamon Series are inspired by Japanese heraldic symbols, called Kamon. On each shirt the Kamon, representing traditional Japan, is overlaid with artwork, photos and graffiti that reflect contemporary Japanese culture Maru (Circle); The white artwork is a free drawing done from the back of a car whilst being driven around Tokyo. I randomly drew what I saw until the page had been filled.
Rokkaku (Hexagon); based on photos and drawings from my 1st trip to Japan in ‘03. The over-printed artwork features 2 photos from Tokyo.... One is a street scene and the other a tag taken from a road sign in Meguro.
Seiho (Square); Based on the first Kanji to make the word Terratag - Te (to shine). The Kanji is shown twice; As a Kamon and as a brush painted ink calligraphic. The ink theme continues with the splash across the front.SOLD OUT
Every Kamon Series T-shirt is sent out in an exclusively designed TERRATAG T-Bag.
